3DroneMapping performed a large-scale aerial survey of a proposed irrigation and damming scheme in the Iganga district of Uganda. Covering approximately 31,000 hectares, this project provided essential orthomosaic imagery and Digital Terrain Models (DTMs) to inform planning, design, and implementation of water management infrastructure aimed at enhancing agricultural productivity in the region.

DroneMapping completed a high-accuracy LiDAR and aerial survey for Kao Mine in Lesotho, covering approximately 315 hectares. The project was undertaken for Storm Mountain Diamonds Company and included the delivery of orthophoto imagery, dense LiDAR point clouds, digital terrain models, and 1 m interval contours. A custom-built fixed-wing UAV equipped with a 60 MP metric camera and LiDAR INS system was used to achieve survey-grade results.

3DroneMapping conducted a comprehensive aerial LiDAR survey of the Maragra Sugar Estate in Mozambique, covering approximately 60 km of storm-damaged dykes. This initiative aimed to support the reconstruction and reinforcement of the levee system, ensuring robust protection for flood-prone sugar cane fields against recurrent cyclones in the region.
